Hey guys,
did any of you order riding jackets from ridersdiscount.com? Am a bit confused about the sizes.
I wear XXL t-shirts here, (and a L riding jacket which is a bit tight for me, so am guessing a XL jacket would fit). Which size would that convert for the US?
The ridersdiscount shows sizes as 42, 44, and so on.
This is the one am after specifically.

I tried going to PS and check Alpinestar leather jacket sizes, but they didn't have any for my size.
:\
Cheers

I got some as pants from them, good stuff took a while to get here.
I was dealing with this bloke:
RD Customer Service [mailto:support@ridersdiscount.com]
John
Riders Discount, Inc
(616) 931-6644
He was pretty helpful.
The as jackets are in EU and US (you should be able to find a convesion chart from google or the as website

), best thing to do is go to a bike shop try the stuff you want on, note the size and then order it.
hope that helps.

thanks for that contact reedy.
will call him up and have a chat.
I tried going to a couple of shops inculding peter stevens here, they didn't have the alpinestar leather jackets

might look around for a size converter of some sort online...had been checking a few which didn't help much.
Those are branded stuff almost half price of what we pay for the same things here, so I guess its worth the wait
Thanks again reedy

The 42, 44 etc. you mantion is the chest size measured under the arms. This size does not include a fat gut if you have one. I would not buy any gear that I could not try on first. When I bought my leathers the size I thought would fit did not, so luckely I was able to try different sizes until one finally fit my 220 lb frame, (all muscle and Jim Beam except for my head which is pure shit).
