haha bro - just kidding. We know that Metal fans often sneak in a few undesirables, but you cant argue with numbers. We will see if Vampire Weekend are filling stadiums in 10 years...

(they arent even filling stadiums now at their peak). They are flavour-of-the-month pop that is destined for obscurity when the next fashionable band replaces them and has their 15 minutes.

take a look through all the Triple J hottest 100 cds over the years - you will find alot of bands that have fallen into obscurity....

I respect their longevity, even if their popularity ranks along side the many commodore driving, flanny shirt wearing, winnie red sucking bogans who exist in ever increasing numbers as a blight on our society!
