Just after abit of info on sheepskin covers, I've heard from 1 guy they make a big difference comfort wise on long trips(I must be getting old to worry about comfort) so if any of you guys have any opinions on these or other covers it would good to get your feedback & no I'am not a Kiwi

Google airhawk. Not cheap but work better than the old sheepskin.

I tried one once but with my leathers on only made it to the end of the street before I turned around and took it back off because it was way too slippery and I wouldn't have been able to hang off the bike. If you just sit in the one spot and ride they might be ok, but then I've heard the airhawk is a better option for that type of riding as well.

I use a combination of both, I dont ride in leathers so I dont have the slippery problems, have used sheepskin without the airhawks, it helps but the airhawks makes the biggest difference for comfort on long rides

ditto for the Airhawks, they're great, you can inflate them (or deflate them) to whatever level is comfiest for you, the sheepskin wears flat after a while but the Airhawks never will, they're great on long trips, very comfy.

another +1 for the airhawk, mate,
i dont ride in leathers and have never had the slipping problem, you can tie it down to the seat even with leathers on it still shouldnt move if you tie it down properly
its amazing for long distance trips

even through the twistys i never had a problem with it moving or being uncomfortable
i found if you take off the rear strechy strap and replace it with a long black shoelace, it holds to the seat much better

I reckon the sheepskin is well worth it. I find mine no more slippery than the stock vinyl......... If you are interested give Kev a call from VCM....... he is a sponsor here...
here is a writeup I did when I got mine..........

2 questions for ya Mikey, first one, given you don't have the rear stretchy strap for your Airhawk, how would ya know? Second, will a brown or white shoelace work too?
