Re: perth??
I did some of this when I was over there a while back:
Mundaring Weir Road. to Kalamunda.
Kalumunda out Canning Mills road.
right at Bullock hills road. thru the forest.
down the hill to Tonkin Hwy, then back up the hill.
More canning mills road thru suburbia, though nice past the National Park.
Up Brookton Hwy turn right down Soldiers Road, past Churchmans Brook.
to Albany Hwy and Wongong Dam. Then back down Caradine Road.
Up Waterwheel road or double ack Down Caradine to Brookton Hwy then up and thru toward Araleun, but diver to CAnning Dam.
Up to Jaradale then off towards the prison and Serpintine Dam.
To the lookout just past the Buddist Temple, then back to Serpinetine falls.
meander back any way you like...
Checkout http://www.perthstreetbikes.com those guys are pretty helpful
There's bugger all traffic there unless it's peak hour and after 2 days its boring at bat shit

Re: perth??
Reedy +1
Philbo have a great time in the west mate, PSB or the perthstreetbikes is a good forum, the guys are helpfull and even have a babes section
Perth is young and planned unlike Sydney, which just happened.
I don't know about the roads from the riders perspective as in the days I visited over there I wasn't riding.

Although I have it on good authority from some mates in the Z Owners Club over there, that the Mundaring Weir road has 26 corners inside 10km, and the boys love them all !!!

Good luck with your posting over there.
