URGENT: Carlines storage facility, Brisbane

Hi,
A mate in work is interested in a bike that an Aussie expat in London owns.
The expat is in London and is using Carlines to sell the bike for him.
The method that Carlines use is-
- you pay them, via Western Union wire transfer, money goes to UK
- they ship the bike to your address (ie from Brisbane to Melb)
- the new buyer has 14 days to inspect / test the bike
- if unhappy, Carlines pick up the bike and refund your money.
Has anybody used Carlines before or heard any reports of how this operates. My mate is reluctant to wire money to London in case it's an elaborate scam.
Really appreciate any help you can give.
Cheers,
Tony

Thanks Tim and Mick (edit ... and Mr Wasabi).
Just searched Netrider and found a thread on this. Def a scam. Told the workmate not to proceed (he's on secondment from overseas and wasn't sure how to find out).
Very impressive scam though, scammer followed through with Carlines delivery policy and financial policy, very professional. Def some work went into this scam.
Appreciate your help guys :kuda:
Cheers,
Tony

Yep, got SCAM written all over it. Sounds pretty similar to the one that cost one of our mate $7000+ except this expats bike was in Darwin
