The Bastards rang..

I knew it would happen..
There I am at the hospital with my beutiful wife and new baby and the mobile rings...
Lots of slurred talk and yelling on the other end, which I am an expert at translating, congratulating me and telling me to get my arse down to P.I.
It was tough saying no, but I figured I'd better do the right thing and stay at home with the family, even with the threats and Ron calling me soft...
Damn I'm missing not being there...
I might ring them back at 6 in the morning and see how they are feeling then...

Dave
Congratulations to Justine doing all the hard work at least you can sit at home on Sunday at watch the TV....
Wots the excuse get a cheap $15 flight plus tax down here !!!!
Don't worry Mario thinks he's having fun rings me as he was useless in the morning can't even boil water for coffee I told him Dans his breakfast bitch..
Anyway he can enjoy himself...
Rings me at lunch today I am not having fun got no one to organise my lunch coffee etc I think I am better off here not as a slave of domestic duties...
Anyway went shopping today Mario will be busy installing sail shades on his return and looking after kids on school holidays...
So Dave see you at the GP in October unless you are preparing another baby......

Hi Heather, good to see you cracked Mario's password..
and no there will be no more hinderances from me getting to P.I. again..
I distinctly remember Jus screaming I'm never going to do this again, about 2 minutes before Cameron was born... So we agree...

Hate to tell you this mate, but three months after the birth this strange hormonal thing kicks in and they promptly forget that they said anything of the sort. And they'll deny they would have even contemplated saying it...
...which explains why I have three kids, and my last two are thirteen months apart

Reece is already addicted. He won't go out the house without his Kawasaki gear on. When he's in the house he walks around wearing my old gloves, his bike helmet and refers to his little trike as his motorbike..
At least there'll be hand me downs... Lucky we didn't have a girl..

He'll be getting hand me down clothes for the next 10 or so years, if we had a girl she may not like that..

Jus wanted a girl but I figured another boy was a cheaper option... it was my decission, so I'm told..
Yep, I think the Aus supers at E.C. will be his first taste of live bike action. Apart from being glued to the TV all day tomorrow..

That's a tad harsh don't you think .... I mean I know you're dirty about not getting to PI, but glueing a 3 day old kid to a telly is cruel and unusual punishment
