WORLD Superbike rider Chris Vermeulen will share his motorcycle safety tips at a forum in Melton on Saturday, June 5.
The forum is at Tabcorp Park, Ferris Road, Melton South, 10am-3pm.
Participants can learn more about motorcycle safety, buy discount safety gear and win prizes.
Vermeulen will talk about his experiences of riding some of the world's fastest bikes, and offer tips on safety.
Melton Shire mayor Justin Mammarella encouraged riders and people with an interest in riding to attend.
Leading Senior Constable Allan Edwards, of Melton police, said there was a problem with young people on unregistered trail bikes and the occasional rider evading police at high speed on the highways.
