just read the article.. never been there but sounds like a real loss

spent many an hour there early seventies including a short period of employment.....................fond memories of the staff accomadation

as long as they build a decent pub there, I will be happy. It was an interesting place to spend some time in....

Apparently plans were already in the early stages for the demo and construction of an International Hotel, so when it's finished, might be to cla$$y for the likes of us lot..........

Maybe the new pub will charge realistic prices, instead of ripping off the people who keep the Island afloat.
