hi fellow kawasakians , i have an 85 a2 900r that i am restoring to original cond. ,well maybe with a little more power ! i know every one asks this question, but can any one help with colour codes ( 4 the red model) or maybe some quality photos (close-ups) of paint detail ie;exactly where stripes are situated etc...
i am also after side panels , belly pan , mid section and front guard also any brackets that go with these .in fact if you have any 900r stuff you don,t want i will be happy to take it off your hands . if anyone needs advice or help on the front forks , let me know as i have rebuilt mine and by-passed the useless antidive system . look people i,ll be honest i don,t have much cash - my mrs has just gone thru chemo 4 breast cancer , with a major operation still to come. all i,m saying is if you can help me with any of the above it would be greatly appreciated ! i,m also bike mad , so if you wanna talk shit about bikes....i,m your man ! i live in narellan n.s.w my name is paul annd my number is 0431 685 150 , cheers

Firstly welcome along here Paul,Sorry to hear about the experience with the missus, it can't be anything but stressful for your entire family. As to the bike side of things, there are a few gpz fans & ex (and current?) owners on here so there's a pretty good chance you'll get some paint pictures or maybe bits that have been taking up space in the corner of someones garage.

Why not also make an intro thread here?.

Welcome aboard Paul :kuda:

Sorry to hear about the wife - best wishes to the family.

There's a group of us in and around Penrith who try to get out fairly often - been a bit hit and miss lately but it will improve. If you have the time for a ride you're welcome to join us.

I've got an '85 GPZ900 that I'm working on right now actually - might have a chat to you about the forks. :D
