Hi Jase and welcome aboard
Nice bike the VTR - friend of mine has one and I'm very impressed with it.
Just a thought mate - you might want to edit your thread title to include lowercase - all uppercase is considered yelling

Hi Everyone. Oops, sorry about the upper case thing.

Never knew that.
To answer your question as to "Why KSRC ? "
Well, Although I've been riding and falling off bikes for near on 25 years, I'm a mature rider

and after alot of research, the general consensus is that KSRC are genuine down to earth people who just happen to ride or own a bike.
Yeah, I ride a Honda - but I'm not one eyed. Kawasaki have some brilliant machines, and I wonder would things be different if I had the money....
At the end of the day, I came to KSRC because I wanted a place to make some new friends and enemies

Learn from those in the know, and maybe go for a few club rides.....
Trust this answers your question.

Yeah The VTR is a nice bike. I think the thing I enjoy about it so much is its pulling power.
100 k on the highway top gear - pour the throttle on and she's gone. No waiting around for the thought process. Its gone.
On the down side, The tank is quite small and if you behave yourself you should get about 240kms per tank - 16 litres.
If you get up it, I've had the reserve light come on after 150kms.
Oh and other thing, they are far from being a comfortable long distance ride. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I'm itching to get off the bike after about 200 kms.
But having said that, it's a fun bike to have and it suits my needs at the moment.
