Our satellite TV doesnt show the AFL! I caught a few minutes of it the other day on ESPN but that was late at night. That game looks really cool! It sure isnt for pussy's! Sorry i couldnt find a better word

It is the greatest team sport on the planet. You need to be a complete athlete, supreme fitness, with excellent hand-eye coordination, be able to use the ball with both sides of the body, by hand and foot, and also be able to deal with extreme physical aggression and opposition players hitting you from any and every direction.

It is so popular over here, that it is played at national level in every State, with competitions at state level numbering in the hundreds. At the recent Anzac Day game played at the MCG, the crowd was over 90,000. This was for a normal home-and-away round game. Not a Grand Final, or even a preliminary final. Crowds at the MCG have numbered over 100,000 at times.

Shame you can't watch the games live.....the quality of the games this year has been about the best I can recall, with the exception of only 3 or 4 teams in a 16-team competition - it has been outstanding....

I may do alright for myself here, its so expensive to travel with the exchange rate. Things arent so good over here. Our government is destroying our country! Id never leave but its getting harder and harder living day to day! i have been robbed twice and hijacked, and my fiance was attacked and assaulted in her old house.

We are living in a place that the majority vote is that of poor and uneducated that are brainwashed into believing that their living conditions would get better but its been 14 years and they are still living in poverty!

We had a dirt bike rider that must mugged and shot out on the trails and just this weekend it happened again but the guy was stabbed! You think the AFL are machines? hahahahaha come check SA out for a week

bloody hell mate, sounds pretty harsh over there.......you should take a trip to Oz sometime, we have a pretty laidback lifestyle compared to SA........

We have our moments! Oz is the only place i would consider moving to because of the weather! I did try a year ago to move over but its a LONG process and we as South Africans need to have some serious cash in the bank to be able to qualify to get a work permit!

I have a baby girl and thats the reason i investigated moving over! SA will become like Zimbabwe in the next 5 years! now thats a SCARY story of a dictator presidency! My dad was from there and an aunt of mine is still there! They are farmers and they have lost so much land and cattle! They are lucky to be alive with all the genocide!

Im in the photo copier industry and ive been very successful in what i do! We sell the Konica Minolta range of machines so its the same as what you guys will have over there! The problem is there is not much room for business men in that industry! Most people relocating to Oz and New Zealand are trades people. Doctors and handy men with a trade in labor work like plumbing!

If i could get a break and get in with a copier company id leave for my daughters sake! Im 29 now so i never lived though apartheid but the scares still destroy our country! Generally the whites have moved on but now its a backlash from the black community saying its there turn to show us! I dont really blame them cause they were treated VERY badly.

Lets see what the future holds...
