Yep car on fire after acko, not sure if it was 2 cars or a car and bike. Police from the Sutherland Local Area Command have attended a fatal car accident in the Royal National Park this morning.
Shortly before 9am emergency services were called to Farnell Avenue, Sutherland, about 50 meters east of the Visitors Centre, where a car crashed into a tree and burst into flames.
The driver of the vehicle is deceased.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined.
Farnell Avenue will remain closed at the intersection of the Princes Highway for some time today.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
