theres a haystack on the left and the clutch lever is under the bar?

it must be something else? the clutch lever is still mounted there in the normal position aswell.
so if it's for something else, what the hell is it??

it looks like a simple cable lever off a pushbike. surely you couldn't have that attached to the brake in any way!
