NSW looking to lower limit from 0.05 to 0.02

They've been busy boys & girls in the halls of NSW Parliament, firstly with the scrubbing of fixing repairable write-offs and now getting the very early wheels in motion to head towards lowering the limit on legal bac's from 0.05 to 0.02. I can understand and in some ways support the notion, but i can just imagine how many people are going to be caught out if this really does happen.

BRING ON THE NANNY STATE, they know what's best after all.

so this means weare not focused on punishing more severely those currently flouting the law and focus on those that are currently following the law drinking under 0.05....yeah that makes sense.. :?

BTW it's an NRMA proposal not NSW..

Well the NSW government is considering it at least.

Oh and three's a charm, looks like NSW want to take the plates off cars caught speeding "on the spot".

So Mel and Robyn's trip is really a search for somewhere to live (other than NSW :P ) where you can drink bourbon and still ride the next day, not have the plate taken off your bike for speeding, and the limits don't get revised every other month.
Are they the vanguard of a mass NSW exodus :P :P

There's an election in Vic this November and I would be interested to see the result if
the Libs promised to remove all fixed and mobile speed camera's.
I reckon it would be the biggest landslide in the history of elections on the face of the Earth ;)
