On a recent trip up Buckett's Way, I had a "walking speed" put down on gravel on my previously unmarked 94 ZZR1100
. Luckily, I didn't break anything and was able to continue (up to Nana Glen - great ride except for this) but got some nasty scratches on the lower fairing, and through the decals there. I'd really like to keep the bike looking origonal so I'm wondering if anyone knows a shop in Sydney they'd recommend to do the repairs? The paint work isn't such a big deal as they are only light scratches but the decals are damaged and will need to be replaced. Frankly I despair of finding these decals today, given the age of the bike, and I've trawled the net looking for "decals,bike spray painters/repairers,custom painting,etc" without success. Obviously, whatever I do on the damaged side will need to be replicated all round, so if I can't replace the damaged decals, they'll ALL have to go. I like the factory colour scheme, without the decals it would look too stark, blank, whatever but I would certainly entertain the idea of having a suptle custom spray job (light graphics in a sympathetic colour) done if I can't find the decals. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here's a "before" pic for reference.
