hi all,just thought i would intro myself here, i am an expat from the uk ,now living on central coast NSW been here since 2005 ,i have come in from L.A where i was living in venice near santa monica.
i have been riding since i was about 16 years old,dirt/ road & drag.
i have always owned kawasaki's ,starting the slippery slope on my first KE100 back in the uk in 1981, fast forward--- owning a whole throng over the years including ..kx125, kx250 ,GPZ600R,ZXR750 ZX6R(UK),ZX636R,ZX9R (USA), norwegian import to the uk a 2000 ZX7R with flatsides(RRspec) etc,brought with me from overseas my KX & 1988 canadian model nut & bolt resto KDX200 C3 (last of the aircool powervalve ,this was never available in the uk) i rebuilt it using canadian ebay..(2 long years!...lol).


anyhow this was my last road bike back in the uk the norwegian ZX7R P5(flatsides,dyno jet stage 1,power commander,art titanium exhaust ,corser's etc)


these are the 2 resto dirt digglers i brought with me...



my new current ride that i have here in oz is a 1999 ZX7R P4 low k's (16000),took a long time trying to find a decent example ,just finished ripping it down repairing stuff & putting it back the way i like, imported shit load of bits from the uk ,i now smile alot more these days...



i hope i can hook up with some of you dudes out on the road

ride every sunday up the old pacific highway (we head as far north as the lower central coast) so there should be plenty of people to welcome you

G'day and welcome boomer! I'm an ex-coastie (have lived in Budgewoi, Woy Woy, Wyoming, Narara, etc) and love the central coast! Moved to the north end of Sydney a couple of years ago, to lessen the commuting.

There's a regular Sunday morning ride on the Old Pacific Highway. We meet at 9am for breakfast at Pie in the Sky (Cowan), then do some laps of the old road (between Cowan and Somersby/Kariong), or sometimes head somewhere else from there if the mood strikes. The good news for you: you get a full lap of the old road before breakfast! Quite a few of us get up there earlier and do an early lap up and back before breakfast as well, so you may end up with company.
It will be very quiet this weekend (due to double demerits) and next weekend (due to a big planned ride up to the Oxley), but I hope we catch up with you some time soon!
