ZZR 1100 Headlight issue

Hey all.
I purchased my dream bike, a '99 ZZR1100 last week and it has been looked after really well.
One thing that is annoying me though needs immediate attention.
The guy I bought it off was trying to sell it for eighteen months. He says he put it in to a bike shop, who couldn't move it for over six months.
When he took the bike back it appears the Headlight has been pushed back an inch or two. (probably from squeezing all the bikes in together)
Maybe one of the brackets holding the headlight in was snapped?

Any ideas would be great.

I don't know if you have ever tried to change a head light globe in a ZZR1100, but that initself is a job for a dealer, so for a whole headlight I would take it straight back to the dealer and pay whatever he wants :o By the time you remove half the bike, the scratched knuckles, the stress etc etc etc it just aint worth it.......... oh and G'day and Welcome also.......

Pffft! After you've done it two or three times you can do it with your eyes shut. :D

Thanks for your speedy responses. I am a Lecturer in Mechanical Fitting so I think I'll just download the manual and give it a shot myself.
Cheers Seiko but I am based in Perth. (can't shout enough beers to get you over for the weekend)
Don't know anyone who rides so I'd be interested to find out if there is anyone doing informal rides in the west.

Hey people. Well I tend to agree with ALL of you who replied. Yes it was a job I would much rather have a bike shop do, but once you've done it, you could pretty much do it with your eyes shut. :D
Both mounting lugs on one side had been snapped off. After a quick search for another headlight at around two hundred bucks, I decided to head over to my CNC workshop and knock up a couple of mounts on the Milling Machine.
Back together now and straight as a die.
Thanks for all your input.
Better start checking out some other pages.
