fright of my life...

Gday guys, just thought I would share a quick story!
so yesterday afternoon/evening, I was coming back up to newcastle from sydney, and I wanted to make it home before dark. I was planning on a cruising run up the F3, and planning to sit a bit above the limit the whole way. So just as I am on pennant hills rd about to turn onto the freeway, I stop at the lights next to a dude on an R6. We give each other the nod etc.
we both get onto the freeway proper, and after about 5 minutes, he just lets rip, takes off and is sitting at a decent amount of kms. I think woohoo radar barrier and take off after him. We end up taking turns in front, and blasted down the freeway. All is good, apart from a rain shower near Newcastle.
So I'm sitting at my comp this afternoon, phone rings. unknown number.
I answer, and its a police officer from the HWP in Sydney. Heart attack time!
I almost cried haha, thought I was completely done for, undercovers had gotten my plates or something....
anyway, he just told me that he pulled up a Honda in Fairfield yesterday that had the number-plates from my old bike on it (I still own the old bike, its sitting in a shed with its number-plates on it...)
so yeah, was just a courtesy call from the police to inquire if I knew the guy or not, so I don't have to go to court.
No point to the story, just a shit scary moment I am sure we have all thought about
