Another legend falls. Tragically taken too soon in the Adelaide Hills Saturday morning, doing something he loved. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed.
Condolences to his family.
Rest in Peace

Always bad to see riders bite the dust. We had our share on another forum in the States last year. Condolances to the families.

Yes..it was sad to see another legend depart in such bizzare circumstances..much like Greg Hansford and Peter Brock and of course many others (eg Mike Hailwood)
It happens!
What we consider as a "walk in the park" for these champs does not always work out that way.

Greg loved his early Kwakas (H2 and later 900 types) but was poached to Yamaha for good reason of course.

It is all history now so RIP #64 and thanks for the memories.

Sorry for such a late reply but unfortunately I haven't been near a full size computer since before xmas. I knew Greg through control line model plane racing and loved hearing about his exploits on bikes back in the day. Take it easy up there mate!
