Was giving the Zed some love today and just about to finish up putting the last thing's back on (bar-end mirror's) and they wont fit

.....
They are a universal set from MCAS cost me $200

.....But none of the rubber gromet's fit in the renthal's

.....Went back to try get another set from them today but they dont have anything suitable
Has anybody used a certain brand to fit the renthal's or is the another way to get them to work?.......
With the stock bar's there was a thread welded in the end of the bar and I just turned down the head's of the original bolt's....
Here is what she look's like so far...

Just wanted to say after taking the Zed for a ride with the new bars what a HUGE difference it is

.....
Firstly they have a lot less sweep on them and make me lean forward a bit more taking a bit of weight of my arse from being so upright if that makes sense

.....
Also the general steering of the bike seem's so much quicker and direct is this just me or has anybody else done this mod and had the same affect's?....I honestly didn't think it would make that much of a difference
Oh and the guy who I got mirror's of in the link above is absolutely top's to deal with, even posted them to me before the transfer had cleared

...Did you get your's Owen?

I had another similar idea to this, but still trying to find a set to try it out.
My idea was to get a set of the bark busters off the Hypermotard with the fold in mirrors on the ends of the guard. Really need to see it done first, to know if it would look any good.

hi, I'm thinking of getting a set.
Six months on, are you still happy with your set?
Have you a current link to the eBay set as the previous link is out if date now.
Appreciate your help.

i got a set in Nerang, from the motor cycle accessory shop, but the supplier was mcs, which most bike shops get stuff from. Cost was 150 for the pair, and screwed straight into the thread on the end of my stock bars, and then when I changed to fat bars, had aluminium expanders that worked well. IMO bar end mirrors are awesome, cos they look cool, and you can see past your elbows.
