some serious balls here... nice wheelie out of the cutting... and no chase down conrod straight, would be mighty fun on one of these old beasts :shock:

you should of seen 'em live

Hansford on a green machine coming off the last hump at around 280-290ish and flying for 100m ..or more
before having to stop for Murrays :twisted: (bathurst circa 83 from my memory)

Great footage Pinchy, nice find mate....

If only we could find some footage of Hansford v Willing back in 1974? 75 - one of the greatest Australian GP's ever, with both of them doing enormous wheelies over the second hump on Conrod.......just awesome.

Smitty - you reckon he left the ground for 100m ??? :shock:

I raced there in 82 & 83 its a killer of a track, but there is just something about the place.

Andrew Johnson on the 500 Honda in about '83 - incredible through McPhilamy and Reid Park. I nearly shit myself everytime he came past, awesome, awesome motorcycle riding.
