Snow, snow everywhere, Can't ride my bike but am going to take up snowboarding tomorrow. Never done it before but I have skied. I have an instructor and if I survive I will post the results tomorrow night. I have no idea what time it is right now in Aussie country but here it is 3:45 P.M. on Tuesday. Anyway stinky white shit, I'll probably have to get tipsy to do this snowboard B.S. I guess I'll start now.

Old man, Skiing is way better, at least you have control. with the last ski trip we watched at least 1/2 the snowboarders fall trying to get up a simple T bar ......real uncoordinated

I hope my skateboard experience will help me although if I'm too spastic I will go back to skiing.
But I've always been spastic, you should follow me on a motorcycle sometime, a sight to behold. Many a rider has crashed trying to follow me, not because of my riding skills but from uncontrolled laughter. I'll try to get pictures if I'm sober enough.

Snowboarding is great fun, you'll love it.

As for the bike, take it out in the snow - you'l lappreciate the grip levels once the snow is gone

I've had it out in the ice and snow and all I got was a puckered asshole, not something I need at my age. I had an aquaintance in the sixties who rode all the time in the snow, unfortunately for him he also drank large quantities of alcoholic beverages when he rode, he died a tragic death, (only in his own eyes as he was an asshole), from a slip on the ice in Provo Canyon in the 1960's. The celebration of his death was almost a holy thing to observe, seeing all his friends and neighbors peeing on the corpse. They baried him in a shallow grave and if you visit it, to this day you can smell the odor of urine.

I went boarding today, what a kick in the ass, as thats where I spent most of my time. I like it and am going to buy a board and boots. Almost as much fun as riding and I can do it with a Jim Beam. If you get a chance you should try it.

Told my missus about your adventure last nght and being a relatively recent taker to snowboarding, she was a little amused given she had spent a lot of time on her arse when learning the art of it all.
