Well we (MadKaw and me) actually got around to the ZX10R rear shock transplant into the ZED

This is what we took out and put in....... The 10 shock was just a little tight, about 1.5mm each side on the lower linkage so out came the grinder

Couple of problems though the height ajustment has set the chain path a little too close to the zorst link pipe so I'm gonna run it to my exhaust mate and get the bugger slightly adjusted to create clearance. I think we may have just put a drop to much oil into the front shock, we added 40mm and I think 30mm would have been more the go. Oh and the side stand is now a little short, needs extending or a block of wood kept in my pocket

After a quick run around the block the difference is phenominal, much firmer, better feel and the front feels planted and solid. Unlike that pogo stick arm chair it was before.
Big thanks to Dave for having a spare shock and giving his time to get it in. The front fork tweek may catch on mate

Should be plenty of clearance for the track now, feels more like a motard than a naked now

Check it out....... I'll get the zorst sorted and see how she goes at the track
