07zx10 oil light

Has anyone ever had there oil light come on? I have the correct amount of oil and can't think of what else to look for.

Pull off the little rubber hood over the sensor clip.
The clip on wire may be corroded away to bugger all

Being the 08 KSRC Mechanical Excellence Award recipient I can honestly say I have NFI

Apart from an oil change, have you done anything else to the bike recently? Had the tail off for any reason? Did you overfill the oil?

Iv'e had a small slide down the gore hill fw but only sustained cosmetic damage.I'll do what that other guy suggested and check for corrosion.

is the oil light on when running? or while turned off?

Check all your electrical connections as maybe its something simple like that after the drop...
