Is there a Kelly Joyce amongst us? I may have just brought your old ZZR 250 for my wife.

Ah my beloved 250.... how I miss thee

Take good care of the little one, out of all my old bikes, she is still my favourite and I miss her greatly, even after all these years.

And congrats on the purchase I hope your wife loves her as much as I did!

Kelly the bike is sweet, I bought it from Ky, I don't think he ever registered it after buying it from you as he split with his girlfriend. He had just spent about a grand on her having all bearings, bushes, servicing and a heap of other stuff done. So his loss was my gain. I noticed the pipes have been opened up and airbox has been modified, was this done when you had it and was there any carby work done?

Nah, he never registered it.... And its been sitting is his garage for ages now.

Had the pipes opened and airbox done when I had it to try and get a little more power out of it, and fix a lag it had, work was done by Startline Racing on Moss Street, they dyno tuned it too see chart in here - http://www.ksrc-au.com/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 3&start=40.

I never had any work done to the carbies that I am aware of, back in those days my Dad took charge of my bikes (the ZZR was my first one).

I have a spare set of the pink decals sitting here at home. We had two sets made up, just in case  I kept them for some reason, so you are welcome to them if you come and get them.

Thanks Kelly, all good info. I like the look of those dyno results to. If we're coming up in the future I'll be in touch, a spare set of those decals would be good to have. If you want to part with them I don't mind paying for postage etc as my wife has already had a zero speed drop and marked the bottom panel.
