Project Buzz was kicked off a few months ago when i changed the LED tailight cause it was horrifically Dull!
Mod Plans are: Flush Mount indicators, Opaque aftermarket windscreen, Rear pillion passenger eliminator, New rear LED Taillight
[DONE], Shortened rear fender Eliminator
[DONE], Yoshimura Pipes or a custom design system and Custom Lime Green Number plates.
New Rear Taillight
Old Vs New
Lightless Fender
Dummy Fit..
And again
Fenderless..
Stripped...
Yesterday's task was to get rid of that HORRIBLE rear fender billboard and remove the front wheel cowl's reflectors.. Build Casualties: 1 drill hole in my left thumb and my fav No fear T-shirt has a huge slash across the front, and so does my tummy.

Powertools and me = No no
New Fender Eliminator
Before:
All Pulled down:
Had to cut up the stock Fender - Like a hot knife thru butter, a Stanley knife did the job.
All Finished! Plate lights are single LED's in the Plate Mounting Bolts. Indicators alternate with the brake light LED's when swiched on.
LED Replacement light is a metric f*ckload brighter than stock!
Remember these reflectors?
Well they are no more!
Addition to my Sticker collection

And the obligatory skid pic

Love the skid Pic
Not a big fan of the integrated lights....I think cagers have enough trouble seeing our indicators as it is, but in saying that they do look good

Neither was I until the day I picked it up (sunny, fine, blue-sky kinda day) and the BF rode it home and I drove behind it - I couldn't see him brake or indicate. I thought, maybe it's just me, Had my dad do the same thing and he nearly crashed into me. It wasnt only for looks, and to simplify and streamline the bike, it was a matter of safety too. As an L-plater iIwas freaked out enough by everyone around me and was willing to spend $$ to make myself more noticeable. Being Bright Green with a chrome helmet doesn't cut it on Bright Sunny days, let alone at night. Canberra driver aren't exactly fantastic with Riders...

Nice work!
So far I've ordered a yoshi slip on and rear cowl for mine. I have exactly the same bike.
I'm trying to find a FE with smaller indicators, don't really like the one with the integrated indicators in the tail light, it looks sweet, but I think it's hard to see when you're indicating.
I'll order a tinted screen next and might leave it at that or get clip ons and rear sets to get in that sporty position when riding.
Sorry to hear about your injuries, get your boyfriend to operate the machinery next time, lol. But it looks nice, sweet colour too

Nice chicken strips, Try leaning it arond the corners. The tyres on the bikes are way soft, easy to get rid of those huge chicken strips. Put a Pirelli Sport Demon on much harder compund and better in wet.
