Yeah I dont think it needs to be real sophisticated by the looks.
I can get steel, not stainless but other stuff no worries

I know someone with a lathe and could knock up the pins then you just buy a length of tube for the slide, I'll make inquiries later this week about it.

Bastards stole my idea. Here's one I made back in 1995 when I first got my 9. The only problem with it is that the distance (air gap) between the end of rear axle and the swingarm is different on the LHS to the RHS, one my old 9 anyway. So when you move from one side to the other, the angle of the aligment tool changes relative to the bike. I'm pretty sure there was some dude by the name of Pythagorus that I learnt about in school who reckons that will alter the distance measured. Does that make sense? I'll try and post another pic tonight to show you what I mean.

I just use the front wheel toe-in measurer thingy I made for the car
it looks like a cross between the evilbay item and Kevs....
