Newbie in Adelaide

And I'm a newbie in both senses, to the forum and to bikes. Bought a 50cc scooter at the beginning of this year for convenience, and decided two things about five months later: firstly, I was tired of not being able to get above 60 km/h, and secondly, I wanted to live! In August I passed for my Ls, and almost immediately brought home a 1995 ZXR250, which I love. There's something about the sound of 15,000 rpm that I just can't get over. Plus, professionally I'm a social-worker, so a bit of light corner-carving on the way home is a really great way to shake off the human detritus that I pick up as the day goes on.

I found the forum because I had a hazy idea that the ZXR and the ZZR were somewhat different animals, and surfing around trying to work out the difference (considerable, as I now know) led me here.

Can't get my photo to post here - obviously forum-illiterate - so here's a link to my flickr account for those as want to check out the bike.

Hi Chris, welcome to KSRC wave.gif You can find a heap of useful information here, just post up a thread or do a search, you never know what you can find 8)
Speaking of 15K revs, I had a deristricted CBR250RR race bike that went to 21K, the thing was a buzz box & was heaps fun to punt on.
