I admire and also envy you guys! I started learning to play guitar in my early teens, but bording school and life got in the way and I never went too far with it. Maybe when I retire and have loads of time I might go back and learn again. I kinda like the idea of kicking back in the lounge of an evening cranking out some smoking rythmn! I reckon my extra charicular activities would go hand in hand with a guitar!!

I'm similar - played when I was a kid, then stopped for whatever reason.
Started classical again (self-taught) a few years back, but my 3 guitars are currently gathering dust as I prefer to play with Zane.
Mind you I was never that good - only play for myself. Very respectful of people who can really play...

I had a teacher in grade 5 that was teaching kids to play guitar when I was in grade 4, asked for and got a guitar for my birthday in grade 4, come grade 5 that teacher was sacked for putting fat on his strap (yes corporal punishment for you youngsters) which makes it sting a little more so my guitar playing ability is 0.
Thinking about taking up Harmonica, lot more portable

Sorry, but I couldn't care less for musical instruments...probably because I hated music lessons at school.....

You blokes and your new fangled electrified rock'n'roll machines. Gimme a full bodied acoustic anyday.

Hoffy, got a Marshall 1960A Quad owned by an unknown famous dead aussie musician for sale if you want one.
(used in his home studio and his wife wouldn't tell me who he was - rather unusual experience)
It's been slightly modded for home studio use (different jacks put on back - Canon, and switch to choose which speakers are turned on - nifty)

its the G-400, 62' rep. Cherry. I wouldn't look at the G310's, just dont have the build quality of the 400's..
