Howdy all,
I dunno if this is the right place to post this, but I just thought I'd give you guys a cheap laugh at my expense.

Still not quite sure what happened, but it was wet. There may have been oil or I may have just grabbed a bit too much throttle.
NOTE: I didn't edit the vid.

Was running pilot powers, the bike wasn't too bad

Just some scraped fibreglass a bent brake lever and a slightly more ground down footpeg. All I got was a grazed elbow
The annoying bit is that I'd only put the bike back together and resprayed it after stacking coming out of turn 2 on the previous trackday(waaay more damage that time, seems bikes don't like flipping, doh)
As for the 180, I'm not sure why I didn't try to bail out but I think the extra style points were worth it
Rob, if you're sure then that'll be a weight off my mind as I've been going over it again and again since it happened. Even went as far as to get the tyres replaced, just in case, LOL.

Man, that sucks.
At least you're ok, but spewing about the bike!
Sounds like the damage to the bike is pretty minimal at least.

So stylish
That join in the bitumen was enough to upset the rear just enough to let it go . There is another join thru 12 that can upset things a bit too .
Really like the way you kept your eyes on the dirrection you wanted to travel .
Ol Matey with the camera was having some trouble with target fixation

bet his jocks were worse than yours
Glad you didn't suffer any injuries

I hate that corner!
As you come through it the back of the bike is super light if you dont get it right..... lot of crashes there... I guess thats why they call it crash corner

Perhaps a little oil on the track?

But most crash going into it...not coming out of it!!!
I'd guess that it's just a lack of grip. Pilot powers and a wet race track arn't the best combination for grip!!
I lurve crash corner. You can brake mega late, as the entry is uphill and then stand it up and nail it, wheelstanding all the way down the hill!!! Awesome fun!! Matter if fact, I still rate Broadford as one of the most fun track in Oz to ride! Not scary fast like the island, but not flat and boring like LaLa or the Paperclip!!!
