Jordan's Friday Report
This is it, as we begin the last round of the seven race Parts Canada Superbike Championship Series, Jordan leads both the Parts Canada Superbike and the Yoshimura Sportbike Championships but only by a narrow margin. He needs to finish second to McCromick's first to gain his 6th SUperbike and 4th Sportbike Championship, with a new recored of four in a row for both. Talk about pressure! Well the pressure is on McCormick as he crashed his ride falling in the afternoon Superbike practice as McCormick set a slight margin on Jordan's time by only .204 seconds. McCormick was not physically injured in the crash. Jordan and McCormick were also the only riders to break into the 1:05's for Sportbike with the conservative Jordan pushing the challanging McCormick with this Championship hunt as well.
This will certainly be the best Championship run in Canadain history with great weather, the last long weekend of the year and a very tight battle after the closest racing ever seen in Canada. All that can be said, if you are not here on Sunday, you will only see a glimpse of the show on TSN or the season end DVD, as the total show is one you need to experience first hand. This intense title battle is the best we have ever had with Jordan not buckling under the pressure, in fact he is applying more pressure on McCormick and it is beginning to show with today's track results, more than the times show.
