Try this at home.
Put your dog and your wife/better half in the boot of the car for an hour.
When you open the boot, which one is really happy to see you ?

i'd loose an arm and a leg trying to get the wife in ...........dog no problem..........

Haven't your heard of the gentle persuader? Place a sprkly necklace with an " ON SALE" sign in the boot she will just about knock you over in the rush to get in there.
