Kawasaki Announces Exciting New Cash Backs

Kawasaki is proud to announce an exciting new range of Cash Backs available now on a selection of Kawasaki road motorcycles.

In addition to the well received $2000 and $1500 Cash Backs currently available on the Ninja ZX-10R & Ninja ZX-6R respectively, Kawasaki has now added another four models to its Cash Back list.

Buy a powerful new Ninja ZX-14 or 2009 Z1000 high performance sports bike before Nov 30 and receive $1000 Cash Back. Buy the street-fighting 2009 Z750 before 30 Nov and receive $750 Cash Back.

To make the country’s highest selling motorcycle, the Ninja 250R, even more appealing, Kawasaki is excited to announce a $500 Cash Back on the model until 30 Nov 2009. Be quick as stocks are limited.

All Cash Backs are available at participating dealers while stocks last.

Let the good times roll with Kawasaki Cash Backs!

its so stupid tho, our 09 zx10 is between 19500 - 21000 here, and they offer a cash back of a few thousand, yet in the US EVEN with the convertion of currency a ZX10 over there brand new is US $11,xxx so it wouldn't make it much more.

So why are we getting shafted ???

Why can't Kawasaki Aus offer competitions like this one from Kawasaki UK where you can win a 25th anniversary Ninja with different paint scheme instead of cash back scam. Just lower the damn prices :x

The marketing suits will not do that because when our south pacific peso lowers in value again they would have to put up the prices, and we would be complaining about how much the prices have gone up and being shafted again. Further if the Aus price more closely reflected the exhange rate, the same marketing suits would find it even harder to hide their shafting ways.

One also has to remember it is their ( the marketing suits' ) job to get as high a price for their goods as the market will bear. ( just look at the Aussie parts prices compared to the US )

Aus pricing is all about logistics.

To sell 10 units in America, sent 10 bikes to 1 dealership. 1 truck/consignment.

To sell 10 bikes in Aus, you have to send two to Melbourne, two to Sydney, Two to Brisbane, two to Adelaide, 1 to Perth, and 1 to Darwin. You've just added 15000km delivery costs to sell the same number of bikes.

Same goes for everything we buy in Aus, which is why prices for low volume items are high here.

Looks better on the balance sheet this way to the bean ccounters!
Total Sales = $xxx, xxx at lower price. Much better to go to the boss with a higher total sales figure, and a side entry for discounts or promotions or marketing or whatever heading has the most budget to spare.

In the end it's the same price to the customer, so who cares!
