Well i have'nt been here for such a long time as i went even further to the Dark Side
My ZX10-R went to a good home and i hope the new owner is having as much fun on her as i did.
The Honda Blackbird is still in the garage but a shell of her former glory with no SP1 front end or Ohlins suspenders in the rear

I walked into the bike shop for head stem bearings about 11 weeks ago and came out with this

Those stock Dunnies are absolute shite! Get rid of them asap. They will tear like nobodies business and they have stuff all grip. On a cold morning you will easily spin up the rear if not paying attention and even with a slipper clutch can fish-tail on a down shift. They just shoved em on there cos they wanted to keep the retail price down a bit but they are simply screwed up. Oh, and we found out after a spirited run through Putty that you really do get better mileage from harder riding. Im guessing something to do with the firing order and the extra momentum the crank shaft carries at higher rpm??

The Dunhoops are long gone mate, they were well and truely shagged by 3000k's, ran a set of Bridgestone 003's after that and great tire but only got 2500k's out of those, currently have racetec's on the bike K1 front and K2 rear

dont know about more spirited runs being economical, did one of those up the Oxley and if i hadnt stopped at Gingers i wouldnt have made Long Flat :D
