a few mods to the 6

Well as the 9 was sold I ended up keeping the 6. I have done the following mods to it so far:
Yoshi RS5 slipon, genuine rear cowl, removed pillion pegs, integrated tail light assy, crg levers, screen, gpr steering damper, speedo healer, k&n filter, pc111.

I was going to get the two bros twin setup but ended up getting the Yoshi cheap at the Mladin sale. The screen was supposed to be a dark smoke but turned up black. Wasn't sure about it at first but it's grown on me. It was cheaper to get a genuine rear cowl than one off ebay.

Dynoed at approx 114HP with downloaded map. 121.8HP after custom map.

Next on the list is braided lines and possibly swapping the calipers. Was thinking about rearsets but the stock setup is comfortable for me, so I may just get the heel guards anodised.

I've heard polished rims are a bitch to keep nice and shiney. But I'm guessing if I just do the lip it would not require that much work. Any suggestions where to get it done and cost or should I just buy a kit and do it myself?

just the lip is good, you spray it with silicone spray after cleaning, then when it gets dirty, just wipe away and re=apply silicone spray :kuda:

my Z had machined lips, they were easier to keep nice than polished lips would be.

They're actually a tribal pattern not flames apparently. I think they went a bit overboard on the 10 but don't mind these ones.

In regards to the rims I think I will leave them as they are for a while. They are not just a plain red, they have metalic flecks through them which look quite good in person. Maybe next winter if I'm bored I may get out the stripper and polish.

Also I was going to mount the number plate near the rear shock, which makes the rear end look heaps better but decided against it to keep the boys in blue happy. I am happy with the integrated tail light assy though.

The screen ...
Nice work!

Few questions, the indicators are now in the tail light assembly right? Looks clean. What screen is that, i like the shape and been always meaning to get one. Lastly, how much for the pc111 and tune? I doubt id go that far but it is impressive.

That's a radial mount dampener.

121hp is pretty healthy for a 636. Well done!
