If I had to lose my license (in a car) I can think of worse ways in worse cars.
New headline: "Man does what most other men would do if they were given a Ferrari"
He must have been thinking, "There's no way any cops will be out here, should be safe, nothing but wheat and open road", poor bastard.

It certainly would be something that would be very hard to resist. But then surely they would have organised some time for the media on a closed course somewhere. Maybe he was just impatient.

That'd be ironic, getting caught speeding because you were too keen to get to the track to open her up properly.

'Party-boy' Corey Worthington loses licence for speeding

July 14, 2009 - 9:14AM

The long arm of the law has again caught up with notorious party boy Corey Worthington, who's lost his licence after being nabbed speeding on the weekend.
Worthington was caught travelling at 124km/h in an 80km/h zone in Langwarrin, in Melbourne's outer southeast, on Saturday afternoon.

Police have confirmed the offender was an 18-year-old from nearby Narre Warren South.
He was issued with a penalty notice for speeding, slapped with a $421 fine and had his licence suspended for six months.

Worthington narrowly escaped losing his car under Victoria's hoon laws, which dictate that a car be impounded if someone is caught travelling 45km/h over the speed limit.

fame does not get you off the hook

Julimar Rd is hardly in the middle of nowehere and from all accounts, is quite a shitty road to be travelling on at that sort of speed.
