Kawasaki Sportsbike Riders Club - Australia - Online Forum

There's been some talk, so now there should be some planning. The idea is to go away for the weekend, do some (tame) 4WDing, camp overnight, talk lots of bull, have fun, etc. I figure we need to decide who, where and when.

So, the Who is easy - just post in this thread!
The Where - post a suggestion.
The When - we'll wait and see how the who and the where goes, then pick a weekend

Suggestions we've had so far:

- Stockton Beach
(staying overnight in the caravan park, doing some sand dune 4WDing, and some beach fishing)

- Newnes
(bush camping, easy 4WDing)

We have a book with a huge range of campsites (arrived last night) that I will have a flick through and see if there's anything decent within range from Sydney and add to the list of options.
There has also been an offer of a spare seat or two, so if you don't have a 4WD but want to tag along for the weekend, post up and see if you get adopted for the weekend

Blurr will get stranded somewhere in the barina
waynemorgan & son

Jay and I will need adopting as per usual man seriously when don't we need adopting

well, don't have a 4wd but...love camping.

Turon State forest?

Wollmbi caves? The road in is very interesting....

As long as Nelso promises not to drive over the top of anyone elses 4x4, me and wifey are keen...

mmmm wonder if the barina will make it???

no russ, but a KLX450 will go great on the sand

When I saw dirty in the title I hoped you might be thinking somewhere for dirt bikes, but I don't think the KLR would make it that far


Still, if you picked somewhere in the Brindabella's I reckon a fair few of the HCC, and probably a few extras, would get our dirties out there no worries

We're keen Cath . However are totally in your hands as to destination having never really done any 4x4ing

I usually have a spare seat Collette as my wife doesn't like 4wd's or camping, so you should have no worries getting a lift.
