Ok so been fixing the 7, getting it ready for to be re-registered. Replaced a few things, and now have a problem. First off, found there was a hole in radiator hose and had no coolant in the thing, so temp. fixed sqince have to wait a few weeks to get a new one or find one from a wrecker. found there was another hole in the hose that goes from the thermostat to the carbies, the little bowl thing with a filter in it { all fixed }. Replaced battery.

Ok statered her up and she was tapping bad, now talking to neville he said it was either the carbies are out of balance or the cam chain might be loose.

Anyway the PROBLEM! started her up and was just going to ride her around the park near my place and let her warm up {all good} put her in 1gear and then she died!!!!
She will not start now, no kick! no nothing. the battery is fine coz i tried to jump start her and same thing. When i hit the start button she makes a tick from near the fuse box under the seat and thats it (checked fuses in the fuse box and there fine. Checked the 30amp fuse to the side of the fuse box and fine), When i release the button there is a little spinning noise near the front of the bike. Im losed, i was thinking since she died when i put her in gear could it be the kill switch on the side stand (took it off and cleaned the bottom end). Other then that i have no idea.

?????

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D :(

Starter motor probably didn't disengage, jolt from putting her into gear may have sent a surge through
and blown the starter relay. :?
Pull the starter off might be stuck out

try sticking a paperclip in the side stand switch plug to complete the cirtcuit. i'd spemd 5 mins checkin thats right then an hour checking the starter motor.

but sounds like maybe the starter.

nah nothing like that, to be honest sound liked when the battery was dead. But there is still power since its a brand new battery, plus as i said i had already tried the jumper leads.
