Was turning onto norwest boulevarde this after noon from windsor road, and had a bit of pace so a bit of noise to it and came to the 1st roundabout to see a policeman on his motorbike sitting there watching. He followed me for the next 2 roundabouts with me sh!tting myself the whole time. Pulled me up and says i pulled you over because you didnt indicate out of the roundabouts. And then continues and questions my exhaust which is a yoshi on a ninja 250r. He said why did you put it on and i replied, For safety if it means a car can hear me and makes me more visible and aware to the driver well its doing its job and could just save me ending up dead and you having to explain to my parents the car driver didnt see me. He goes rido and says basically yeah car drivers do have their heads up there ass. And then we got chatting bout motorbiking in general for a bit and he was happy that it was done for safety reasons and so on. he was happy with my led number plate lights, and couldnt believe i did 600k on it 1 day 8) The only thing this bloke wants me to do is change my rear tyre cos its shot. So basically, I'm glad i got pulled over by this bloke no fines no trouble and just a real genuine person to speak to with no powertrip going on :kuda:

Glad to hear you didn't get fined and only need a new tyre needed better than a fine and points :kuda:
Good point about indicating, I don't even do it in the car

Must be one of those special duties 'escort a motorcade' type cops.......certainly doesn't sound like Highway.
Good to hear there were no fines :)

NO F%^#$%G WAY!

I couldn't be bothered telling this last week, but after this philbo I have to!

THIS EXACT SAME BLOKE pulled me over 9:45am MONDAY LAST WEEK on exactly the same road!!!!

He pulls out behind me in the little bay near bunnings just off old windsor rd, he must have been waiting for a bike just like with you philbo!

Tails me at quite a large distance, maybe 70m behind me, a car between us most of the time.

I INDICATED FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE ROUNDABOUT UNTIL PAST THE EXIT making sure there's quite a few flashes, on all 3 roundabouts very PURPOSEFULLY because I knew he was following me and that's the law in NSW.

Pulls me over just before the end of Norwest Blvd and I thinking "WTF more and I supposed to do than that!"

Tells me I have to indicate to exit a roundabout!!!!!! :x :x :x :x
"I did"
"No you didn't"
"Yes I did"
"Maybe your blinker's out"
Walks around behind me, checks it - working.
"You didn't"
pfft chuckle (he didn't like that I don't think)
I ask him "What are you riding?"
"YAMAHA FZR(???_1300, It's faster than that" (Gesturing to my GS500.)
Ahaha big man on a big bike

Definately some sort of castle hill crack downs on bikes for some reason, trying to intimidate etc. They need a big official sign on the side of the road on a pole:

"OPERATION 'SGT. FLASHER"
(on a big bike, bigger than yours)
POLICE TARGETING BLINKERS"

:kuda:

Im old school & never indicate when leaving a roundabout.... ie straight ahead.
I got my licence a long time ago & there was never any of this bull shit...... you put your indicator on if you are exiting left or right but not when you are going straight ahead!!!
I am sick to death of sitting there waiting ....... O look this dick has his indicator on ..... he must be turning.... O look he is driving straight ahead.... Fark MEEE!!!!!! what is with this totally stupid rool  (SP!~)

BTW I drive up NWB most days & have not seen him.... thanks for the heads up guus :?

Your right Rob100%
Left yes, right yes,
straight ahead no fucking way,
The amount of near miss's because dicks approach roundabouts indicating left when they intend going straight is down right dangerous!!!!!
It also defeats the pupose of a roundabout, which is to increase traffic flow and safety.
If you sit waiting for some dick with his L/H indicator on approaching the roundabout because you are terrified he is actually going to go straight ahead, how does tha improve traffic flow???
Any coppa who books you for not indicating when going straight through is a dumb arse logic defying knobswallower!!!!
Putting it mildly :D

Yeh timmo he got me at the other end opposit crowne plaza hotel. It was funny because i was watching him indicate of the roundabouts and i'm with you rob i dont indicate if going straight got better things to do but any hoo no fine :kuda:
Yeh jay tyres not too bad is down but not to point where its urgent will get it to next service
I was cheering as well seiko when he backed me up on it being for safety  :kuda:
BTW rob at the bus bays that go in off the road highway patrol sit in there alot of the time i.e the one outside bunnings and opposite the crowne plaza. and occasionally at the shell servo
