ive noticed the metzler m1s are still $350 a set at the MCA site.
i need a new set of tyres for the 12.
is there any reason they have been on sale for that price for so long now?
im only looking cos im a uni student at the moment ,theyre real cheap and i ride 700kms each weekend on the freeway.
front and rear pirellis only have a weekend or two left in them.

A great commuting tyre - I had M1s o my CBR, got 15,000Km from the rear and 28,000Km from the front!

They are cheap as they have been superseeded by the M3s. The M1s are a litle down on dry grip compared to the M3, but way better in the wet. I use M1s on my track bike as wet tyres, and have done some reasonable laps around P.I. in the wet with them.
