green rain

Post by waynemorgan »

Had the opportunity for get out for a ride today - my first in the wet. Feels really great to get out and ride.

Observations -

grip the tank
be gentle
fog insert would be handy
must purchase some textile pants with thermal liner (leather not warm or dry)

biggest finding - riding behind a truck does help keep the wind and a certain amount of rain off BUT if your visor starts developing green spots then life suddenly has a crappy outlook. (What idiot takes his cows for a drive in the wet???)

Yeah following a livestock carrier can be shitty...I either get past quick, go another way or stop and let him get away...even in the car... :kuda:

I have custody of my teenage son - he helps and knows the proceedures mum needs :D This is the first time I've left her in his care (bit much for a young teenager) but I always stay in touch via mobile.

Once I hear back from ACAD in relation to getting some in home help I'll (hopefully) get some time to myself.

Todays ride was the first in 4 weeks - was good just to concentrate on something else for a change :D
