Honda parts prices suck! :(

Bought some oil filters for my ER6 this week and I thought that they looked suspiciously like the oil filters that my Bros and CB400 run. (Apparently a lot of Hondas run these filters.) Side by side they look the same, with the Kawasaki filter ever so slightly higher. Only possible difference that may stop them interchanging would be the thread- otherwise the same. Will find out next oil change. What is staggering though is the price difference- $11.40 for the Kawasaki- $25 for the Honda!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always try a better price on with the dealers because I run the riding school, and the last Honda dealer made out he was doing me a favour giving me $1.50 off. Hmmmmmf. Bloody glad I didn't buy another Honda.

Try a ryco Z411 from supercheap.
Pretty sure they are the equiv to the Honda one , just make sure the gasket is the same dia and the filter thread screws on easy and snugly.

They are probably the same filter but if there is any way to confirm that the media configuration, micron rating and flow rates are the same for both filters it would help you.
