How far have you gone to buy a bike

After my trip to Adelaide and the long straight roads with no radio stations and sick of the music I took along.
I got to thinking, how far have you gone to buy and retrieve ya beloved bike.
Previously I have gone to Dubbo, Canberra, just down the road and now Adelaide from Sydney.(round trip 2850km).
Can anyone bet that.....O shit I forgot about Mel and the trip to Perth.
The things we do.... Whats your best??

I went to Melbourne from Geelong to get my Bike without tellin my missus and she said "go to buggery"
Don't know how far buggery is exactly, but it must be a fair way because I had no communication with her for two day's

The shortest I have gone was about 1.5km from home. Beat that....

I bought mine from a roomie so didn't even go outside. Made it easy as I knew the bike quite well....

Probably wnet about 60km, but the bike wasnt insured yet, and it was wet, and it was my first bike, so it came home in the back of a doggy van
(serious my mate is a dog trainer lol)

1st Bike about 3 kms, 2nd about 20kms, although i've offered a friend to bitch it to Melbourne to pick up her bike, lucky she's a bitch!!

Dont know about he next one though, hopefully not to far but i dont care really aslong as i get my nine

melb to syd so that isn't as far Rod even with the detour back via Canberrya, still isn't as far as you did... what'd you get or have I missed something again....

130km from Bendigo to Melbourne for my ZX6R.
130km from Bendigo to Whittlesea for my Suzuki.
Must be something about that number?

2000km's round trip to Brisbane to get a wrecked 600. I got my nine from Taree (500+ km round trip) too.
