KSRC Mates come thru, for RWC... UPDATE

As some of you may know the 04 zx10 that I now have, which was formally Watties has Vortex rearsets on it, these are fantastic but I cannot get a RWC on it with them on. (the brake light cannot be connected)

What I was wondering is, if anyone can lend me their brake side footpeg assy whilst I get the RWC done and the Vic Roads inspection? It is likely that the RWC and VR inspection will be on different days within week. Oh and has to be done within the next two weeks.

I'm happy to compensate in a manner suitable if someone could assist.

Cheers

Update: I'm Touched... as you know in more ways than one now...

Mates, on here that assisted or offered assistance has been greatly appreciated. Special Thanks to Glen for helping out and to Russ also.

This is what I had/have to do to get a bike rego'd in Vic.

Book in for Road Worthy Certificate tomorrow it cost me $40.20 for a permit to ride to the mechanics, but first I had to remove fender eliminator and put back the original fender etc. I had to put the pillion pegs back on and the original foot peg brake/gear assy's... :x

Book in to Vic Roads for an Inspection (earliest slot 28/4/09) $34.30 for that and it costs $14.60 for a new rego plate for the zx9r so I can put my personalised plate on the zx10r which costs $98.50 to change details for my own plate... :x :x :x

Then I get the privilage of paying $530 ish dollars for the rego.... (which includes 3rd party insurance)

But .......................

I'M STOKED

Or you could buy a hydraulic brake light switch for it & that might make things easier ;)

When I was a bike mechanic, you only had to have 1 brake light switch for RWC, have they changed the rules since then?

Wouldn't worry about the Vicroads inspection to much.
Got mine re-registered in Geelong in Jan this year and the inspection consited of
a 15 second walk around and back to the office.
Didn't even have to turn the key or move it an inch!
They rely completely on the RWC being legit :kuda:
