woo hoo!!! they arent open sundays are they?? if they were i could feel some shopping rides coming on!!! what better than riding the old road then going shoopping for your bike, then riding the old road home??!!!

They are open Sundays, until 2 pm.

hmmm... about time thay come on board!

Maybe it's time to head up again on a Sunday after doing a few oph laps?

Good stuff - I meant to go in there sometime and talk to them, but never really got around to it.
They were very busy when I bought my helmet there so I didn't do it then.

That's great news, particularly if they're open on Sundays.

My advice is do'nt go near Image Motorcycles. I am currently taking them to the Department of Fair Trading as they didn't supply what I paid for. Their answer was bad luck buyer beware and you bought it as is. You think after spending over $13,000 on a bike they would be more accommodating. They are amatuers and I could tell you more but I will wait until I get justice from the Department of Fair Trading.

Be carefull who you recommend these are the guys that sold me a bike at full retail without the Red Key. It costs about $2,000 to get a Red Key because you have to replace the ECU, Immobiliser, Key barrels etc...... This along with other things, so I'm now fighting them with the Department of Fair Trading. So beware guys

Ok.. I was hesitant about posting this about one of our sponsors but as I'm not alone, here goes...
I have a 1989 ZXR250 (import) had already spent $3000 on getting it rebuilt. Unfotunatley, saut around for another 2 years and the fuel tank went rusty. I took it to Image, said they could get it going, blue slipped and ready for rego.
I took delivery after having spent $700 with them and ride 1.6 kms and it broke down. They picked me up and took it back to the workshop, fuel problem... well they had just cleaned the carbies, put new fuel in and its stuffed.

WHY????? The mechanic cleaned the carbies, great... didnt check the tank and guess what, needs more work now... Image advised that well, needs more work and more money... Pigs ass i said.. I've just paid $700 what do i get for my money... the response... we did what you wanted...

No they didnt!!!!.... and still havent.......

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST.........

It sounds like ya want to argue or you have a vested interest in Image Motorcycles.... Ok I'll tell ya the brief story, but there is more than I can put down here ........
Yeah second hand but at full retail price when without a Red Key it is worth $2,000 less than I paid for it. The bike was presented to me as the previous salesmanagers own bike. Ya think ya safe when you buy a bike from a Kawasaki dealer, the salesmanagers own bike, and the current salesman said at the time of delivery he would chase up the key and get it for me. This Key issue went on and on until management in the end said get lost, buyer beware, you bought it as is. I then discovered that the bike actually came from Melbourne somewhere. So it was probably a repo or something else not the company demo as I was led to believe it was. I think Image motorcycles managers are amatuers and they themselves knew nothing about a Red Key.

Fair enough mate.

It wouldn't be the first time a buyer had learned more info later, had buyer's regret and got pissed off. And it definitely wouldn't be the first time (HA! Or the thousandth time) a salesman told a porky to get a sale - which is why I asked... it's always in the details.
I hope you get it resolved fairly and to your satisfaction.

Interesting story Marksesh - are you following up on it, or did you just decide to cut your losses, move on and send your dollars elsewhere next time?

Image Motorcycles seems to have an Image problem, are they around to shed some light? has anyone else had the pleasure of their service?
