Funnf thing happened on the way home today...

Hi everyone!
Well, there I was at the Pacific Highway and mowbray rd when a beautiful ZX12R pulled up beside myself and my ninja 250. The lights changed and off he went! My little brave bike valiantly took off from the line (eat my dust, sad 80s falcon that tried to challenge me!) and away I went. I pulled up at Epping rd lights and the guy on the ZX12R gestured for me to pull up beside him. So I putted my way over. He asked me how long I've been riding. "Seven years!" I replied. He then told me about the Kawasaki Sportsbike Riders Club, said I should check it out. So when I finally got home I hopped on line and checked it out. Awesome, I thought, looks cool. So here I am, giving a big shoutout to all the Kawasaki riders out there, especially all those in Sydney!
Bit of background: new to Kawasakis (2008 model Ninja, although I've ridden a couple before) but utterly addicted to riding. Runs in the family - my Pop still lovingly talks about his AJS Evolution. My partner is learning to ride (wishing him luck for his Ps test coming up...) I think his parents were a bit horrified when his new girlfriend turned up one day on a bike! I've lived in Sydney for 12 years on & off, but grew up in the country, which is where I learned to ride. i still think roos are scarier than Sydney traffic!
Enough for now!
Looking forward to meeting some of you at a ride!
