There has been a lot of bad press lately so I thought I'd drag up an old post I had and issue it as a press release. Keep an eye out on the news soon!
10 Ways to Be Safe on a Motorcycle
1.) Assume Drivers Can't See You:
What, like they dont see me popping the front wheel up everywhere.
2.) Maintain Safe Spacing:
Yes a good one. Tigerfly has had her bag caught a few times on cars a bit close when we go up the middle.
3.) Anticipate Trouble:
When you hear them yelling and the horns blaring it normally means trouble. Just pin it and get the f**k out of there.
4.) Beware of Oncoming Left Turners:
Especially with the front wheel in the air.
5.) Ride Your Own Ride:
Not touching that one....
6.) Watch Out for Curves:
Chicks walking down the street always get my attention.
7.) Don't Give In to Road Rage:
Keep the fight going till you win. Never walk away a looser. If all else fails get on yer bike and refer to rule 3
8.) Don't allow Tailgating:
Whats wrong with Tailgator.....
9.) Don't Be Blinded by Sunglare:
just lift the front wheel a bit higher. Blocks the sun every time.
10.) Avoid Riding at Night:
It normally cold so just rug up.. oh and lift the front wheel. Its a windbreak too....
There you go. 10 sensible tips to make it better for everyone.
Hope that helps some of you.
