Hi
Does anyone know who does the carbon engine end cases, that meet the new sup regs for this year, I have the woodcraft ones but at the WSB this month I was told they are not good enought this year.
Cheers
Mark

I believe the ruling was changed and crash resistant covers are OK.

I read it somewhere recently... will find and post..

Found it...

its on PCRA

1/2 way down the page posted by Ross Martin..

That's what I thought as well, we were handed a letter on the Thursday before qualifying (same as per the link) but the scutineers said that unless the end cases are covered by at least half they are no good, I was thinking if they are not to expensive I'll just put them on to save any hassles during the year, it seems that the ruling could be interpreted in different ways
BTW I think I may have met you at the supers I was in the marque with John from Mornington kwaka.

Hi Mark. Yep we snuck in the pits for a bit, unfortunately just before you guys went out.. Great to see you doing well out there too, good result in the wet particularly..

But the way I read what Ross Martin has said the NRC / Woodcraft type covers are fine.. I think his details are in the thread, you may want to ring him to be sure.
Theres an update on the MA site about it but I can't read the pdf file for some reason so no idea what it says.
