For those of you who look at the Motorcycle disposals site this is odd.
http://www.motorcycledisposals.com.au/B ... 20ZX10.htm
Then check this...
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/kawasaki-zx10-20 ... 240%3A1318
(bids started at $4000 at MD, wonder what he paid and why the quick sale...)

So what is the storey. Did the QLD guy buy it off M/C Dissposals and is now trying to sell it for a profit??
or do they both own identical bikes???
As for the price the bike looks like it has taken a fair beating.

Mmmm bit strange. Having seen it at MDA a couple of times in the flesh I think the blokes dreaming at $5500. I don't reckon it was worth $4000 unless you wanted to take a huge punt. $5500 is a joke.

The MD bike was sold for 4.5 K
I was thinking of putting in a tender fo 2K.....def not worth the $$$
& WTF is this................
KAWASAKI ZX10R 2006 18,000KS WITH DAMAGE
STATUTORY WRITE-OFF.
( mistake by insurance accessor )
UNREGISTERED AND VIN CANCELLED.. CANNOT BE REGISTERED FOR THE ROAD.
What is with this guy, there is no mistake it is a SWO

That was the line the MDA blokes were using when they were trying to convince me it would be a good base for a tracky (which it probably would be at $2k). He reckoned there was nothing structurally unsound about it and therefore it shouldn't have been a stat wo.
Methinks someone has paid a little too much for it

Typical queenslander trying sell at an inflated price. By the time you finished with that bike you can buy one complete.

The MDA one also clearly had damaged rims, yet the ebay seller says rims OK
$4K was a bit rich too IMHO

I just noticed the guys that are selling this ie bakerbros have stuff up for sale on the extreme site ie a cbr600 repairable wo plus their after road bits for an R6. They must just buy up shit and try and flog it off etc.
