Why I'm glad I didn't buy an old bike.

Was driving the family wagon yesterday. Saw a guy on a cool looking old bike and detoured to check it out.
Having a 30 year old fiat 124 Sports in my youth I know full well the pitfalls of badly maintained "classic" vehicles.
I pull up to the lights just before him, put the window down, turn the radio down and look across to the left.
Up he SPLATTERS his old Honda400, roughly stalls, mutters to himself, swears and sits waiting for the lights.
Lights turn green and he starts the bike IN GEAR and catapults off again.
